Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State Respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "(i) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 25.08.2025 passed by divisional appeal forum caste verification/ scrutiny committee lucknow i.e. opposite party no.1 contained as annexure no.1. (ii) Issue an order, direction or writ in nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.1 to decide the appeal no.36/2023 Ram Kishore vs. Chairman District caste verification committee, Unnao and others pending before opposite party no. 1 in a stipulated period." 3. However, on objection being raised by learned Standing Counsel that the matter is still pending before the Divisional Level Committee and it has asked for certain reports from the District Level Officer and the petitioner challenging the interlocutory Order only, the counsel for the petitioner says that he does not wish to press the prayer no.1.
