HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 3099 of 2025 Court No. - 7 HON'BLE JASPREET SINGH, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The instant petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Court Act has been preferred alleging non-compliance of the order dated 25.11.2019 passed by the writ Court in Misc. Single No. 32313 of 2019. 3. The record indicates that the Court while passing the order on 25.11.2019 had permitted the petitioner to file a representation before the authority concerned and the same was required to be decided within a period of three months. 4. As per the petitioner himself, the representation was given on 16.12.2019. Apparently, in view of the limitation mentioned in Section 19 of the Contempt of Courts Act, this Court does not have the jurisdiction to entertain nor there any accentuating circumstances to indicate that the cause of action is recurring. 5. For the aforesaid reasons, the present petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed, however, it is observed that mere dismissal of this writ petition may not come in the way of the petitioner in case if he has any remedy available to him in law.
