Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State Respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to grant permission to the petitioner for celebrating pooja of the Maa Durga during Navratri festival from 22.09.2025 to 02.10.2025 at the concerned place of Village- Jaimal Gaon Hamlet of Madhwapur Raghunath, Police Station- Nawabganj, District- Bahraich and provide adequate Security." 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the Chairman of Nav Durga Pooja Samiti of Village- Jaimal Gaon Hamlet of Madhwapur Raghunath, Police Station- Nawabganj, District- Bahraich and for the longtime during Navratri the Kalas Pooja and Goddess Durga's idol installed on a suitable place. Its immersion takes place after Navratri. The petitioner has moved an application to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nanpara, District- Bahraich on 04.09.2025. No orders have been passed, and therefore, this petition has been filed. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, without entering into the merits of the case, with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nanpara, Bahraich to decide the application of the petitioner within a period of three days from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.
