By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is wife of late Shri Kalicharan Suryavanshi (died on 09/12/2022), is seeking a direction towards the Respondent authorities to decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment as the husband of the petitioner was working in the respondent Department/ CSPDCL. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner, after the death of her husband, submitted various representations as also on 18/03/2025 but the same has not been decided till date. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that if the application/ representation submitted by the petitioner is still pending before the respondent authorities, the same shall be considered in accordance with the existing policy for grant of compassionate appointment at the time of death of the husband of the petitioner, within the stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the petitioner has already submitted representation before the concerned authority for grant of compassionate appointment with respect to the death of her husband, the respondents are directed to take necessary decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance 3 / 3 with the existing policy for grant of compassionate appointment at the time of death of husband of the petitioner, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
