The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.77 of 2024 arising out of Rail (H) P.S. Case No. 02 of 2024 (N), for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) and 29 of the NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-V, Ranchi. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.6691 of 2024 by order dated 18.09.2024. On 03.02.2024, the petitioner along with co-accused persons were arrested by Hatiya Rail Police and on search about 29 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that though commercial quantity of cannabis was recovered from the possession of the accused persons, but charge has not been framed in this case. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2024. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
