The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner – Stark Packmate Pvt. Ltd. under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking quashing of the impugned order dated 27th August, 2024 issued by Respondent No.1-Sale Tax Officer Class II/AVATO Ward 53 Zone II. 3. The Petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 27th August, 2024 on the ground that it is very cryptic, unreasoned and bad in law. 4. Prior to the passing of the impugned order, a reminder notice was also issued to the Petitioner on 1st August, 2024 for furnishing a reply to the show cause notice dated 30th May 2024 as well as for a personal hearing before the Respondent No. 1. The total demand raised against the Petitioner is Rs. 27,92,442/-. This is a digitally signed order. Counsel for the Petitioner, who is appearing virtually submits that he has deposited Rs. 13 lakhs (approx.) on the portal, however, thereafter the portal was blocked and, therefore, he could not deposit the remaining amount. 6. In view of the above submission, let the access to the portal be given to the Petitioner for the next thirty days in order to enable him to make the deposit in terms of the impugned order dated 27th August, 2024. The total amount demanded is Rs. 27,92,442/-. The Petitioner shall deduct the amount already deposited and deposit the remaining amount. 7. The petition is disposed of in these terms.
