Admittedly, appeal is provided against the order dated 26.12.2024, which is impugned in the present Petition. Though the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that a fair opportunity of hearing was not afforded to the petitioner, from the impugned order, it is apparent that on 05.11.2024, the petitioner appeared before - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:6478 WP No. 4148 of 2025 the Authority and has made a statement denying the liability. Thereafter, the order is passed. 3. In case, opportunity is not granted to the petitioner to produce documents in support of his claim, petitioner can produce the same before the Appellate Authority. 4. No ground is made out to entertain the Writ Petition in view of the appeal remedy available to the petitioner. 5. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority. Time spent in prosecuting the Petition shall be excluded in computing the limitation period if any. In case, the petitioner intends to produce additional document before the Appellate Authority, the same shall be produced and the Appellate Authority shall consider the same in accordance with law. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except the amount mentioned impugned order which is disputed, the petitioner is not in arrears of any other electric charges. 8. If that is the case, there shall not be any coercive action against the petitioner for a period of two weeks from today. 9. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
