This writ petition is filed by Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education Science and Technology, Dehradun seeking the following reliefs: - (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 06.04.2024 passed by respondent no. 2 (contained as Annexure No. 22 to this writ petition). (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to forthwith register the petitioner’s 3 students in its UMS portal and permit and submit the students’ examination forms so as to enable them to sit for the Annual exams (in the month of May-June, 2024) so that their one year is not ruined. 5. Annexure 22, impugned in the writ petition, is a communication issued by Registrar of University, whereby it was informed that students, who have been given admission without approval of the University, shall not be permitted to get themselves registered with UMS Portal. 2025:UHC:11440 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to an interim order passed by Division Bench on 01.05.2024, all the students, who were given admission in the College, were permitted to participate in the University examination. He submits that in view of order passed by Division Bench, the reliefs, as claimed in the writ petition, do not survive. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
