Learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents, on instructions would submit that the park as specified in the Writ Petition was used as park for several years and the Government had taken a decision to protect all the open spaces, parks and play grounds in the State and issued orders vide G.O.Ms.No.72 M.A, dated 20.02.2002 not to allot the parks for any other purposes. 3. In the light of written instructions of learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents, the grievance of the Petitioner is redressed. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
