Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher, L.T. Grade in a Government Aided I nstitution i.e. K.L.D.A.V. Inter College, Roorkee, Haridwar. He has challenged the final seniority list issued by Authorised Controller of the said Institution on 31.10.2025. 4. Learned State Counsel points out that petitioner has remedy of filing Appeal under Regulation 3(1) (p) of Chapter-II of the Regulations framed under Uttarakhand School Education Act, 2006. The period of limitation is 15 days. 5. Since petitioner has remedy of Appeal under the Regulations, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file Appeal before the Appellate Authority. The appeal, if filed by petitioner within two weeks from today, shall be decided as per law, within six weeks from the date of its filing. I t goes without saying that all the persons, who are likely to be affected by the decision to be taken 2025:UHC:9813 on petitioner’s appeal, shall also be heard by the Appellate Authority. 6. For a period of eight weeks or till decision is taken by the Appellate Authority, whichever is earlier, exercise for promoting Assistant Teachers L.T. Grade in the institution in question shall be kept on hold.
