By way of this interlocutory application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the new incumbents to the post of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development Department and the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam, in the accompanying contempt proceeding. It appears that during the pendency of the contempt proceeding, the respondent Nos.1 and 2 has been transferred from their post and in their place Dr. B. Kalyan Chakravarthy, IAS, and Ms. Keerthi Jalli, IAS, have been holding that post in place of the respondent Nos.1 and 2. Page No.# 3/3 In view of the aforesaid, it has become necessary and essential for impleading the aforesaid two new incumbents in the accompanying contempt proceeding for effective adjudication of the same. Accordingly, the name of Dr. B. Kalyan Chakravarthy, IAS, and Ms. Keerthi Jalli, IAS, are impleaded as respondent Nos. 4 and 5 respectively. Let an amended cause-title be submitted before the Registry of this Court for doing the needful within a period of 2 (two) days from today.
