Laxmi Devi, who is in judicial custody in connection with FIR/ Case Crime No. 129 of 2024, under Sections 302 and 201 of IPC, registered at P.S.- I.T.I., District Udham Singh Nagar, has sought his release on bail. 4. In this case, an FIR was lodged by the father of the deceased, wherein, his eight years girl child was missing from 17.04.2024. Thereafter, the body was recovered the next day from an under- constructed house; the body was in a jute sack, which was two feet deep inside. In the post-mortem report, the cause of death is strangulation. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 6. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that she is the step-mother of the deceased girl and she has been falsely implicated. 7. Per contra, learned State Counsel vehemently opposed the bail application and would submit that the offence alleged is of a grave and heinous nature; the involvement of the applicant came into light by seeing the CCTV footage, in which the applicant was seen alongwith the deceased going into the under-constructed house, where the body of the deceased was found. 8. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that there is no good ground to enlarge the applicant on bail and the present bail application deserves to be rejected. 9.
