The Writ Petition No.26833 of 2024 is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No 2 to 5 in not taking any action for the complaints given by the petitioners admitting cognizable offences dt.27.03.2023 and 19.04.2023 even after the order passed by this Honble High Court in WP/8146/2023 dt.26.04.2023 and registering only a single F.I.R for the 2 complaints given and not doing any investigation in the pending F.I.R in Crime No.392 of 2023 dt.30.10.2023 on the file of Pendurthy Police Station as Illegal arbitrary high handed and violative of the Human Rights and Article 300A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent separate complaints given No 2 to 5 to register 2 separate F I R s for the two dt.27.03.2023 and 19.04.2023 by inducing the relevant sections provided under the provisions of the BNS” 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 4. Sri P. Ramalingeswara Rao, learned counsel for the unofficial respondents in W.P.No.11187 of 2024 is in attendance through online. 4 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.392 of 2023 and file a final report. 6. Considering the submissions made, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. However, the police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
