Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State counsel for respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main reliefs: "a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding the opposite party no. 4 to accord the benefit of annual increment treating the option as 1st January in pursuance to the representation/option letter submitted before opposite party no. 4 in pursuance to Govt. Order dated 13.04.2020 read with Govt. order dated 01.09.2022, contained as Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition. ii. a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding the opposite party no. 4 to accord the financial benefits to the petitioners on account of admission of annual increment by accepting the change of option as 01st January along with arrears and interest accrued there upon since it became due." 3. Since consideration of petitioners' grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the opposite party no. 4-Principal and Superintendent, Govt.
