By means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:- i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding respondent no.1 to take decision on the recommendation dated 26.10.2021 (annexure-6) of the respondent no.2 to allot the Grade-2 post for the petitioner. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to absorb the petitioner in Grade-2 post which are sanctioned and vacant in Practical and Traning Branch in Botany Department/Floriculture, Directorate of Horticulture and Food processing, Government of Uttarakhand. iii) To issue any order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper. iv) Award cost of the petition. Heard. It is the case of the petitioner that she has been working as Project Coordinator since 12.03.2010 in Circuit House, District Dehradun. For her absorption, the respondent no.2, Director Horticulture and Food Processing Udyan Bhawan Chaubatiya, Ranikhet, District Almora, had sent a recommendation to the respondent no.1/Secretary, State of Uttarakhand on 26.10.2021, but till date, no action has been taken on it. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent no.1/State may be directed to take a decision on recommendation dated 26.10.2021, which is Annexure No.6 to the writ petition, submitted by the respondent no. 2/the Director, Horticulture and Food Processing. He submits that at present, the petitioner wants to withdraw the prayer no.2, so as to seek appropriate relief at appropriate stage. The permission is accorded. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn qua prayer no.2 with the liberty as above. Learned State Counsel submits that the State Government will take a decision on the recommendation dated 26.10.2021, Annexure No.6 to the writ petition, submitted by the respondent no. 2/the Director, Horticulture and Food Processing, within a period of four weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.1/Secretary, State of Uttarakhand to take a decision on the recommendation dated 26.10.2021, submitted by the respondent no.2//the Director, Horticulture and Food Processing, which is Annexure No.6 to the writ petition, within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law.
