Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel who appears on behalf of the State-respondent nos.1 to 7. 2. This petition has been filed by the petitioners for the following prayers:- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opp. Parties concerned to grant the permission for installation of Maa Durga Pandal from 22.09.2025 to 02.10.2025 in their village Bankatwa Maholi Post Rahmat Gaon police station Jamunaha (Malhipur), District Shrawasti and also for statue immersion in canal of village Mahorwa from Madaragarhi Mandir Marge to Village Mahoraba in the interest of justice. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opp. Parties concerned to consider and decide the representation dated 15.09.2025 of the petitioner as contained in Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition expeditiously within the stipulated time as provided by this Hon'ble court in interest of justice. iii) Issue any other order or direction which is deemed just, fit and proper be passed in favour of the petitioners. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners wish to grant permission to install Maa Durga Pandal during Navratri in Village Bankatwa Maholi, Post Rahmat Gaon, Police Station Jamunaha (Malhipur), District Shrawasti, and for the last many years during Navratri the Kalas Pooja and Goddess Durga's idol installed on the said place. Its immersion takes place after Navratri. However, an application was made to the Sub- Divisonal Magistrate, Jamunaha (Malhipur), District Shrawasti, by the petitioners on 15.09.2025 but no decision has been taken as yet. Hence, this petition has been filed with the aforesaid prayers. 4. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub- Divisonal Magistrate, Jamunaha (Malhipur), District Shrawasti, to look into the application of the petitioners and pass an appropriate order therein within a period of three days' from today. 5. Learned Standing Counsel shall inform the District Magistrate, District Shrawasti, of the order passed today without waiting for the uploading of the order on the High Court Website.
