Learned Standing Counsel has instructions to inform the Court that encroachment existing on gata no.679, which is recorded as rasta has been removed and there was no encroachment on gata no.344. As regards gata no.825 is recorded in the name of a bhumidhar with transferable rights. 2. In view of the aforesaid, we see no reason to proceed any further. However, if there is any encroachment on any public land then appropriate proceedings shall be initiated by the concerned under U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 or otherwise under the relevant law, which may be applicable subject to there being a cause and locus. 3. This Public Interest Litigation is, accordingly, disposed of.
