Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Alok Sharma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contesting respondents. 2. With the consent of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the contesting parties, the instant writ petition is being finally decided. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite the petitioner having been appointed on contractual basis on 21.09.2005 and the rules for regularization being issued in the year 2016, the case of the petitioner for regularization has still not been considered. 4. Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for regularization in accordance with law and the relevant rules which consideration would be done within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
