JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 19.09.2025 Heard Ms. B Goyal, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners. 2. The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 18.06.2025 passed in WP(C)No.3389/2025. It is seen that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 08.09.2025, Page No.# 3/4 WP(C)No.3389/2025 has also been tagged along with the instant contempt petition. 3. On behalf of the respondent No.5 in WP(C)No.3389/2025, Mr. KN Choudhury, the learned Senior Counsel assisted by Ms. R Choudhury appears and submits that there is no violation of the order dated 18.06.2025 in WP(C)No.3389/2025 and further till the interim order dated 18.06.2025 in WP(C)No.3389/2025 is in existence, they would run the cattle market on Friday on the basis of the order dated 30.05.2025. The learned Senior Counsel further submitted that they have also filed application for vacating the order dated 18.06.2025 passed in WP(C)No.3389/2025 which is registered as IA(C)No.2433/2025. This Court also enquired with Ms. U Das, the learned Additional Senior Government Advocate who appears on behalf of the District Commissioner, Goalpara. The learned Additional Senior Government Advocate further submits that the District Commissioner Goalpara had already been instructed not to permit the cattle market to run in view of the order dated 18.06.2025 in WP(C)No.3389/2025. 4. Taking into account the above, this Court, therefore, drops the instant contempt proceedings. 5. This Court further directs the District Commissioner, Goalpara not to permit any cattle market on Friday at Gournagar Damribhasha Bridge Tiniali Pashuhat till the interim order passed in WP(C)No.3389/2025 is in operation. 6.
