Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Page No.# 2/2 2. This application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, 1. Mohar Sheikh, seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Noonmati P.S Case No. 138/2025 registered under Sections 117(2)/118(2)/109(1) of BNS. 3. The allegations in this case is that on 10.07.2025, one Taharuddin Ahmed lodged an FIR before the Officer-in-charge of Noonmati Police Station alleging that on 08-07-2025, at about- 11 P.M, his brother-in-law namely Mohar Ali assaulted his sister in the house, thereafter on the pretext of taking her to their own village, brought her at Luit Nagar and stabbed his sister in different parts of her body causing grievous injury and thereby also tried to kill her. 4. As per the injury report, the victim sustained grievous injuries by sharp weapons and it appears from the case diary that the victim was later on brought to the Hospital by neighbors. 5. In view of the incriminating material against the accused, therefore, the prayer for pre-arrest bail stands rejected. 6. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
