GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No. 4 in calling the petitioner and his family members to their police station and made to sit over in their police station without there being any crime registered against the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Article 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent No. 4 not to call the petitioner to their police station without there being any crime registered against the petitioner and made to sit in the police station.” 2 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that Police are not calling the Petitioner and his family members. 3. Sri G.V.V.S.Vara Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to call the Petitioner and his family members to the Police Station, in the absence of any crime registered against them.
