Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State Respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite Parties to allow the petitioner and other villagers to hold Durga Pooja by installing the idol of Maa Durga and its immersion procession after Nav Ratri Festival in the Village - Ghorma Parsiya, Tehsil- Ikauna, Police Station- Gilaula, District- Shrawasti with effect from 22.09.2025 to 02.10.2025." 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the President of Nav Durga Pooja Samiti, Ghorma Parsiya, Tehsil- Ikauna, Police Station- Gilaula, District Shrawasti and for the last 12-15 years during Navratri the Kalas Pooja and Goddess Durga's idol installed on a suitable place near Shiv Mandir. Its immersion takes place after Navratri. The petitioner has moved an application to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ikauna, District- Shrawasti on 03.09.2025. No orders have been passed, and therefore, this petition has been filed. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, without entering into the merits of the case, with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ravi Prakash Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
