Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State counsel for opposite parties. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking the following main reliefs:- "i. Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to consider the promotion of the petitioners on the Post of Gazetted Officer in the concerned Department as per their respective seniority in light of order dated 11.05.2024, annexed as annexure no.9, within stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to consider the promotion of the petitioners on the Post of Gazetted Officer in the concerned Department as per their respective seniority in pursuance of the Order Government Order No.18/10/2008 dk-2- 2008 dated 03.02.2008 amendment Government Order No.7/18/1/2008/dk- 2/2015 dated 28.07.2015 with all consequential benefits, within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. iii. Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to decide the representation of petitioners dated 28.08.2025, annexed as annexure no.10, within stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.." Learned counsel for petitioners has drawn attention to the letter dated 04.09.2025 whereby proceedings for promotion on the next higher post of Principal has been initiated. 4. Since consideration of petitioners' grievance would entail factual aspects, without entering into merits of the case, liberty are granted to petitioners to file fresh individual representations before opposite party No. 2 i.e. Director (Secondary Education), U.P. at Lucknow. In case such representations are filed, the same shall be decided within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 5.
