This petition has been filed with the following prayers :- "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to provide a certified copy of the amended bye-laws dated 23.09.1986 of Nirman Sahkari Avas Samiti Limited, Lucknow (Registration No.1001/1985) within a time period of 30 days." It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a registered society under the provisions of Cooperative Societies Act, 1965. Bye- laws of the petitioner society were amended on 23.9.1986 which expressly permitted ordinary members from the general public to be inducted into the society and the bye- laws were approved and registered by respondent no.2. A copy of the amended bye-laws was provided to the petitioner?s society at the time of registration of the amendments to the bye-laws which were subsequently lost during the movement of the documents from the registered office of the society to the office of the Chartered Accountant, near Gulachin Mandir, Aliganj, Lucknow. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has repeatedly requested respondent no.2 in writing to provide a copy of the amended byelaws but the respondent no.2 did not provide the same, hence, present writ petition. In view of the aforesaid submissions we direct the respondent no.2 to provide a certified copy of the amended byelaws dated 23.9.1986 of Nirman Sahkari Awas Limited, Lucknow, registration no.1001 of 1985 within two months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced in case it is permissible under law.
