By means of instant petition the petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay salary including the arrears for the post of Assistant Teacher. Admittedly, the petitioners were appointed as Assistant Teacher on 8.8.1994 and 27.6.1990. As the petitioners have also attained the age of superannuation, no reasons emerge from perusal of the writ petition as to why the petitioners have approached this Court after a period of 30-35 years from the date of joining.
