G RAJA BABU The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.17915 of 2019 on 02.09.2022, wherein this Court passed the following interim order: “In view of the above facts and circumstances, considering the fact that the petitioners also possess the requisite qualification as per the notification dated 26.07.2019 and as the candidates, who possessed B.Sc. with Botany as the main subject, have also been considered for the post of Village Agriculture Assistant (Grade-II), this Court is inclined to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation dated 24.08.2022 said to have been made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the observations as made above, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.” 2. The 1st respondent filed counter stating that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court on 02.09.2022, the case of the petitioners has been considered and the 2nd respondent has passed speaking order vide proceedings dated 02.12.2022, duly rejecting the case of the petitioners for appointment to the post of Village Agricultural Assistant Grade-II since as per the notification, only serving MPEOs with B.Sc.(BZC) degree are eligible to apply for the said post as one-time exemption. But the said provision does not apply to those working as Block Technology Managers in ATMA project. Therefore, the case of the petitioners cannot be considered, as they are working as Block Technology Managers in the ATMA project with B.Sc.(BHC) qualification. 3. In view of the same, since the respondents have already issued proceedings dated 02.12.2022, in compliance with the orders passed by this 3 Court on 02.09.2022, this Court is of the opinion that the respondents have complied with the orders passed by this Court. 4. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the said proceedings dated 02.12.2022.
