2. On 24.03.2025, it had been represented on behalf of the parties that they have amicably resolved the dispute between them. A compromise has been arrived at and terms of which have been reduced into writing in the mediation proceedings. They showed their willingness to suffer decree in terms of the compromise. 3. Today again, the parties have reiterated their same stand. Their separate statements have been recorded on oath. Parties have admitted the execution of compromise during the mediation proceedings entered between them. After going through the contents of the compromise placed in the file of learned Mediator, both the parties have acknowledged their respective signatures on the document as also its contents. The original compromise deed has been taken on record of Civil Suit No. 127 of 2022 and has been exhibited as Ext. PX. Parties have agreed to abide by the terms of the compromise and have also prayed for decreeing the suit in terms of the compromise Ext. PX. 3 ( 2025:HHC:8229 )
4. I have perused the terms of the compromise Ext. PX and have not found any content of it to be violating Section 23 of the Contract Act. Its terms also appear to be lawful. Thus, there is no impediment in granting the prayer made by the parties. 5. Accordingly, the suit is decreed in terms of the compromise Ext. PX, which shall form part of the decree. 6. The plaintiff shall be entitled to refund of Court fee in accordance with rules. 7. Since, the original of the compromise Ext. PX has been placed on the file of Civil Suit No. 127 of 2022, a copy of said document has been placed in the file of learned Mediator. 8.
