Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive reliefs:- “a. That a writ of certiorari may kindly be issued and notice dated 21.02.2025 (Annexure P-4) may kindly be quashed and set-aside in the interest of justice. b. That direction be issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner and his relevant documents for 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - screening and allow the petitioner to participate in the process for drawing a panel of eligible candidates to the post of police constable and further to consider the candidature of the petitioner to the post of police constable in accordance with law in the interest of justice. c. That a direction be issued to the respondents to draw a panel of eligible candidates to the post of police constable in accordance with the notice dated 01.01.2025 issued by respondent No.4 and consider the petitioner along with those Ex-servicemen who retired between 01.01.2022 to 01.01.2024 for the purpose of screening and checking of his documents for drawing a panel of eligible candidates to the post of police constable in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that the issue raised in this writ petition has already been adjudicated upon and covered by Harish Kumar and Others Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors2 . Learned counsel for the parties further submit that this writ petition be disposed of in terms of directions issued in Harish Kumar2 . 3. In view of submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of directions issued in Harish Kumar2. 2 CWP No. 3168 of 2025 decided alongwith connected matters on 23.07.2025 - 3 - Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
