Ms. Leena Guleria, Deputy Advocate General and Mr. Vishwajeet Singh, Advocate, appear and waive service of notice on behalf of respondent No.1 to 3 and respondent No.4, respectively. Petitioner’s grievance is that one post of Shastri, OBC (UR), is still lying vacant. Her name was in the waiting panel for the said post and was also recommended by respondent No.4 for appointment, but respondents No.1 to 3-Education Department, have not taken any action to fill the vacant post, despite inter- departmental correspondence. Reference in this regard was made to Annexure P-10 dated 28.09.2024. 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Let learned counsel appearing for the respondents to have instructions on the subject matter. List on 11.07.2025.” 2. Pursuant to the above order, on 13.08.2025, learned Deputy Advocate General informed that petitioner’s case had been examined on merits and she was eligible to be appointed as Shastri under Post Code 813 as per the recommendations of the HPRCA. 3. During the course of hearing today, learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated nil, September, 2025 from the Director School Education, Himachal Pradesh alongwith office order dated 21.08.2025. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of order now passed by the respondents, the present proceedings be closed reserving liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of her surviving grievances in accordance with law.
