This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer; "I. Allow the petition and direct the learned court to decide appeal no. 16 of 2024 Smt. Maya Devi (Since died) Vs. Nagar Palika Parishad by expeditious manner on day to day basis or within the time bound manner as may be directed by this Hon'ble Court, till the disposal of the appeal the effect and operation order dated 19.11.2024 passed in Case no. 1876 of 2023 Nagar Palika Parishad Vs. Smt. Maya Devi and Others Passed by Additional Distrit Magistrate Finance and Revenue may be stayed and the respondents may be restrained form eviction and demolition land/shop in question." 2. It is contended that appeal no. 16 of 2024 is pending consideration before the court concerned. Sole prayer made in writ petition for expeditious disposal of the said appeal. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondent, with a direction upon the Court concerned to decide the appeal no. 16 of 2024, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
