GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in continuing the name of petitioner on the rolls of Rowdy sheet as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Police Standing Order 742 and also in violation of fundamental rights guaranteed under Art 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and Consequently direct the respondents to forthwith remove the name of petitioner from History sheet” 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner in the state of Andhra 2 Pradesh. Earlier, a case has been registered against the petitioner in Telangana State and the police in Telangana State has opened Rowdy sheet against the petitioner and the same was continued by Andhra Pradesh Police. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner and prays this Court to close the Rowdy Sheet opened against the petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet against the petitioner on the file of Nunna Police Station, Vijayawada, NTR District, is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
