Heard the counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and Sri Atul Kumar Dwivedi, who appears for the AKTU. 2. The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of "Mandamus" commanding and directing the Opposite Party No. 1 to pass an order to the effect directing the O.P No. 2 to provide admission to the Petitioner under the category of Economic Weaker Meritorious Student (herein after referred to as 'EWS'), in the course of B.Tech-2025, (UPTAC Counselling 2025), Petitioner being fully eligible to be provided the admission in the aforesaid course under the EWS category as per the rules framed under for providing benefit to the meritorious students under EWS category. 3. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that at the time of uploading of the form, the proper income certificate was not uploaded, subsequently, the income certificate was issued on 28.08.2025, however, there is no provision for uploading the same.
