Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned state counsel for opposite parties 1 to 4. In view of order being passed, notice to opposite party No.5 stands dispensed with. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to consider and decide petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in view of the fact that his father late Satish Chandra Badola has passed away in harness on June 29, 2022 for which petitioner submitted an application on August 1, 2022 which is still pending consideration. 3. Learned state counsel has been provided written instructions dated September 13, 2025 with the submission that the widow of the deceased, second wife, Smt. Aruna Badola, who is arrayed as opposite party No.5, has also filed a writ petition before this court, bearing Writ A No. 6465 of 2023, which was disposed of vide order dated August 29, 2023, for deciding her application as well. 4. Considering aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is evident that the petitioner as well as opposite party No. 5 are seeking compassionate appointment on demise of late Satish Chandra Badola. The aspect is clearly covered in terms of Rule 7 of U.P. Recruitment of Dependants of Government Servants Dying in Harness Rules, 1974. 5. In view thereof, the opposite party No.3 i.e. Divisional Forest Officer, U.P., Lucknow or any other competent authority is directed to decide grievance of petitioner as well as opposite party No. 5 for compassionate Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Om Prakash Yadav, Ankur Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Amit Badola .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Forest Deptt. Govt. Lko. And 4 Others .....Respondent(s) appointment in terms of Rule 7 of U.P. Recruitment of Dependants of Government Servants Dying in Harness Rules, 1974, after affording opportunity of hearing to both the parties concerned. Orders with regard to the same shall be passed expeditiously within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 6.
