This writ petition was dismissed by this Court vide judgment and order dated 16.12.2025. 4. Today, the present writ petition is listed on money withdrawal application (MCC/4/2026) moved by the petitioners/ applicants-L.I.C. 5. It is contended by learned counsel for petitioners/applicants that pursuant to order passed on 19.06.2023, an amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs was deposited by petitioners/ applicants before this Court through FDR. 6. It is further contended by him that amount under impugned order passed by Permanent Lok Adalat has already been released in favour of respondent-claimant, which is admitted by learned counsel for respondent-claimant. Petitioners/applicants want the aforesaid FDR to be released in its favour. 7. Accordingly, the money withdrawal application (MCC/4/2026) is allowed. 8. Registry is directed to return the FDR to the learned counsel for petitioners/ applicants-L.I.C. forthwith. Petitioner/ applicant-L.I.C. is also entitled to get interest accrued thereon so far.
