Heard Shri Ravi Shanker Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as Shri Ratnesh Chandra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-authority and perused the material available on record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners stating that challenging an order of demolition, an appeal has been preferred, in the said appeal an interim application has also been filed, however, no orders have been passed on the said interim application and the respondent- authority are threatening to demolish the construction despite the appeal being pending. 3. After hearing counsels for the parties, the present petition is disposed of directing the appellate authority to make an endevaour to decide the appeal with all expedition preferably within a period of four months. 4. Till the disposal of the appeal, no action for demolition shall take place. 5. In the meanwhile, the petitioners would also be entitled to press their compounding application, which has been moved after the new building bye-laws on 29.08.2025.
