Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This application has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioner, Azad Imran Hussain prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Kalgachia P.S. Case No.55/2025, under Sections 152/196(1)(a)(b)/197(1)(a)/352 of the BNS, read with Page No.# 2/2 Section 66 of the IT Act. 3. The petitioner was arrested in a case for which the maximum period of detention before filing of the Charge-Sheet is 90 days, the petitioner has already completed 86 days in judicial custody. 4. Mr. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has objected to this bail application. 5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both the sides. 6. Therefore, considering his long period of detention, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody. 7. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 8. The petitioner, Azad Imran Hussain, who was arrested in connection with Kalgachia P.S. Case No.55/2025 shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barpeta. 9.
