Heard Mr. A. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This petition under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused petitioners, namely, 1. Rejaul Karim and 2. Rejina Khatun and 3. Amir Hussain Sheikh seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Mankachar PS Case No.86/2025 under Sections 61(2)/103/85 of BNS. 3. The petitioners i.e. Rejaul Karim Rejina Khatun who stated to be the elder brother-in-law and elder sister-in-law of the informant’s husband and the FIR dated 05.06.2025 giving rise to Mankachar PS Case No.86/2025. 4. It is submitted that in the meantime, during the pendency of this bail petition, charge-sheet has been submitted and the case is pending for appearance and committal. 5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that during the investigation, the two petitioners were found to be uncooperative during the investigation. Therefore, their prayer for interim was denied. Page No.# 3/3 6. Petitioner no.3 is a relative of the deceased’s husband and was earlier granted anticipatory bail by this Court. 7. Despite the nature of the penal provisions under which the case has been charge-sheeted and the petitioners being sent up for trial, but in view of the stage of the case, it is directed that in the event of their arrest in connection with this case, the above-named petitioners shall be allowed to go on bail of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only each with one surety each of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting authority with following conditions: (i) That the accused persons shall be available for trial; (ii) That the accused persons shall not harass, intimidate or harm the informant and their family; 8. With the above observations, this anticipatory bail petition stands allowed and stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
