Prahas, Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri P.V. Ramana, Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner in C.C.No.653 of 2020 and Sri J. Sudheer, Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner in C.C.No.764 of 2020 both the Contempt Cases and Sri V. Adinarayana, Ld. Counsel representing Sri Gurram Ramachandra Rao, Ld. Counsel for the Respondents. 2. The present Contempt Cases are filed complaining of non- implementation of the Orders dated 26.02.2020 and 17.02.2020 passed in respective W.P.Nos. 11777 of 2019 and 10870 of 2019. 3. On perusal of the said orders, it is noticed that the said Orders have been passed basing on the strength of another order passed by the Ld. Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.10870 of 2019 on 17.02.2020. It is fairly stated by the Ld. Counsel for the Petitioners that the said Order passed in W.P.No.10870 of 2019 dated 17.02.2020 had been carried in Appeal by filing Writ Appeal No. 526 of 2021. The Division Bench had passed a Common Order in W.A.No.526 of 2021 along with another W.A.No.802 of 2021 on 24.01.2024, thereby modifying the Order of the Ld. Single Judge. The operative portion of the Common Order passed by the Division Bench on 24.01.2024 is usefully extracted hereunder: “13. In that view of the matter, the Writ Appeals are partly allowed. The order of the learned single Judge is modified by directing the APPSC to consider and dispose of the 9 representations made by the respondent 1 to 3 and other candidates, who are similarly situated as respondent Nos. 1 to 3. Disposal of the representation shall be made within an outer limit of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The respondents 1 to 3 and such other candidates, who are considered and selected in ex- servicemen quota, are permitted to file fresh representation praying for relaxation of standards not to treat the ex- servicemen candidates on par with the candidates of OC category. If such representation is made, the same shall be 4 considered and disposed of within 6 weeks thereafter strictly in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.” 4. It is also submitted that this Order dated 24.01.2024 has attained finality inasmuch as none of the parties have challenged the said Order. 5. In this view of the matter, the Orders passed by the Ld. Single Judge in W.P.No.11777 & 10870 of 2019 dated 26.02.2020 and 17.02.2020 respectively in favour of the Petitioners in the above mentioned respective Writ Petitions shall also get modified accordingly. 6. With this clarification, these Contempt Cases are disposed of. No order as to costs. 7.
