1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken through video conferencing.

This Court, vide order dated 01.12.2023, passed in MCRC No. 8342 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Hira Patel had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the

4. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 01.12.2023.
5. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District-Raipur, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.03.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial.
6. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, statements of 03 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and the statement of 08 prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded. Considering the number of witnesses in this case, therefore, he prays for grant of further six months time for concluding the trial.
7. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today.
8. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
9. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
