Notice. Mr. Sikandar Bhushan, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive reliefs:-
“(I That the impugned orders/ letters of rejection whereby the respective cases of the petitioners' have been rejected for grant & extension of the benefit laid down in Ranjit Singh's case [Annexure P-5
1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
- 2 - (colly.) be quashed and set aside. II That the respondents especially respondent no.2 & 3 may very kindly be directed to release/grant the benefit of 3% promotional increments to the petitioners w.e.f., the date of their promotion to the post of Head Teachers in view of the provisions of FR 22(1)(a)(i) with all consequential benefits @ 12% p.a., as has been laid down and granted in CWP No. 2500 of 2021 titled: Ranjit Singh and others V/S. State of H.P. and others a/ w connected matters; and in light of Judgement in CWP 5390 of 2025,”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that respondents had rejected the cases of the petitioners for grant of substantive reliefs prayed for by them under different office orders, appended as [Annexure P-5 (colly)] by incorrectly interpreting the decision in Ranjit Singh & Ors Vs. State of H.P. and Ors2
Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the cases of the petitioners and the reliefs prayed for by them are covered by the decision rendered in Surya Prabha and Ors Vs. State of H.P. and Ors.3 .
Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that petitioners would be satisfied in case respondents are
directed to consider the cases of the petitioners for grant of reliefs prayed for by them in light of decision rendered in Surya Prabha3 . Learned Deputy Advocate General has no

- 3 - objection to this prayer.

In view of above, notwithstanding passing of office orders by the respondents at [Annexure P-5 (colly)] this writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondents /Competent Authority to consider and decide the respective cases of the petitioners afresh for grant of reliefs prayed for by them, in accordance with law and in light of decision rendered in Surya Prabha3, within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at, be also communicated to the petitioners.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
