Baruah, learned Standing Counsel, ECI appearing for the respondent No.2. The grievance of the petitioner in this petition is for payment of an outstanding amount of Rs.15,52,880/- for providing videography services with their own video cameras during the process of Parliamentary Election of 2024. By filing affidavit, the respondent authorities have admitted an amount due to the petitioner as Rs.4,9,572/-, which has already been credited in the account of the petitioner. Having considered that the claim of the petitioner is of Rs.15,52,880/- and out of which, the admitted amount of Rs.4,9,572/-, having been paid/credited in the account of the petitioner, no further determination is required to be made in this petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy as may be permissible under the law, with regard to the balance disputed amount.
