Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate (AGA) appearing for the State-respondents. The instant petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the opposite party no. 2 to take necessary action on the representation dated 30.08.2025 and initiate restraint over opposite party no. 3 not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the petitioner. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been forcibly married and, therefore, there is an apprehension of threat to her life and liberty. On the other hand, learned AGA, on the basis of instructions sent by Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, Sub-Inspector, Police Station-Hardi, District-Bahraich, dated 22.09.2025, states that the petitioner has been handed over on her own accord to Shri Satrohan son of Bhondu, the elder brother of Shri Vishal son of Bhondu.
