THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayers: "A) Kindly Issue Writ of Mandamus by directing the Respondents Ashok Nagar Police to Defreeze the Account Bearing No.043201514163, IFSC Code No.ICIC0000511, ICICI Bank, Chindwara Branch, Madya Pradesh State of the petitioner For its day to day operation of the said account and - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:14919 WP No. 5116 of 2025 B) Grant such other relief's as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the circumstance of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Heard Sri. Abhishek N.N., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. Shamanth Naik, learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1 and have perused the material on record. 3. A crime comes to be registered for an offence punishable under Section 420 of the IPC. Pursuant to the registration of the crime, it is the case of the petitioner that the Investigating Officer has directed freezement of the account of the petitioner. 4. Learned HCGP on instructions and verification of the records would submit that the amount involved qua the petitioner is Rs.3,41,844/-. 5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to permit the petitioner to operate the account as she was operating prior to the aforesaid freezement on marking of lien of the aforesaid amount in the account of the petitioner, marking of the lien - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:14919 WP No. 5116 of 2025 would remain subject to the result of the crime, in Crime No.373/2024.
