This anticipatory bail application under Section 438 and 440 of Code of Criminal Procedure, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Sections 15, 18, 27, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 139 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge cum Special Judge NDPS, Chatra. 3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, commercial quantity of contraband materials were recovered from the house of the petitioner which included doda (44 kg in three bags) and opium (4.3 kg). 4. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.
