GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.3 in permitting to open the suspect sheet and consequential opening and continuing of suspect sheet vide C.No.12/HS/ACP-WD/2018, dated 03.01.20118 of Bhavanipuram Police Station, Vijayawada as 2 illegal, arbitrary, violation of life and personal liberty and contrary to Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and direct the respondents to close the suspect sheet vide C.No.12/HS/ACP- WD/2018, dated 03.01.20118 of Bhavanipuram Police Station, Vijayawada which was opened and continuing against the petitioner.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter, would submit that there are no cases pending against the Petitioner and to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner the impugned Suspect Sheet has been opened against the Petitioner. 3. Sri K.M.Krishna Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the suspect sheet opened against the Petitioner may be closed. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Suspect Sheet against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
