The present petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 02.07.2025 whereby, directions were issued for taking measures afresh for selection of a person to be appointed as a fair price shop dealer. 3. The Standing Counsel, based upon instruction states, that fresh exercise has already been carried out and, a new person has been appointed on 18.08.2025. 4. In view thereof, no directions can be issued, as sought. The writ petition is dismissed. 5. The petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the appointment order, if so advised in accordance with law. 6. A copy of the said order has been handed over across the bar to the counsel for the petitioner. The same is also taken on record.
