Petition has been filed seeking following prayer:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 & 3 to grant the promotion on the post of Head Constable Civil Police to the petitioner w.e.f. the year 2018 from the date of junior to the petitioner who have been granted promotion along with consequential service benefits in the interest of justice. 3. Since consideration of petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to move a fresh representation before party no.3 i.e. Inspector General of Police (Establishment Police Headquarter Signature Building Gomti Nagar Extension Lucknow) U.P. which shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is served upon the said authority. 4.
