Vakalatnama filed by Shri Ravi Shankar Tiwar and Shri Vishvakant Srivastava, Advocates on behalf of the complainant, is taken on record. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State. 3. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, who states that his financial and administrative powers were ceased in the year 2023. He submits that despite this, the final inquiry is yet to be completed, which is a violation of his rights. It is submitted that Rule 8 of the U.P. Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhans and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997, prescribes a term of six months for concluding and taking a final decision on the inquiry. The petitioner argues that since more than six months have elapsed, the petition should be disposed of with a specific direction. 4. In view of the arguments made, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 2 to take a final decision in the matter of the inquiry within a period of two months from today. 5. In the event that the decision is not taken as directed above, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court again. 6.
