While placing on record communication dated 24.07.2025, issued under the signatures of Superintending Engineer Jal Shakti Circle, Sundernagar, which is taken on record, learned Additional Advocate General submits that mandate contained in the judgment, sought to be executed has been complied with and the case of the petitioner for grant of Family Pension stands sent to the Office of Accountant General for release of PPO.

Having perused the aforesaid communication, we

2025:HHC:24319 - 2 - find merit in aforesaid submission of learned Deputy Advocate General and as such nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant petition and accordingly, the same is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4- Accountant General Himachal Pradesh to ensure that needful is done upon the recommendation made by the office of Superintending Engineer, Jal Shakti Circle, Sundernagar, vide communication dated 24.07.2025 expeditiously preferably within four weeks.

Needless to say that after issuance of PPO arrears, if any, on account of Family Pension, shall also be released by the Respondents-State expeditiously preferably within six month. In case needful as has been ordered to be done in terms of instant order, is not done within stipulated time, petitioner would be at liberty to get the present proceedings revived, so that appropriate action, in accordance with law, is taken towards implementation of the judgment/order, sought to be executed in the instant proceedings.
