According to the petitioner, there are as many as six vacancies on teaching posts and three vacancies on non- teaching posts in the said college, and a request was made to the District Education Officer seeking permission to fill those vacancies, however, permission sought, has not been granted. The application was allegedly made by the Management on 29.10.2025. 4. Having regard to the fact that petitioner’s application for permission to initiate selection process is pending consideration before the District Education Officer, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Education Officer to take decision on petitioner’s application, as per law, within four weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
